Being able to tell stories is cool, but being able to draw them is doubly cool. That’s exactly what your child will learn in this course.
Children will learn how to start drawing a real comic strip, how to make it more interesting, what different “tricks” can be added to it, and how to finish the project.
The program consists of a theoretical part with examples of successful work, and a practical part in which the child draws his or her own comic strip at the same time as the teacher.

The assignments are aimed at kids 7 and up.
But they’ll be interesting for kids 10 and 15 – it all depends on the story you want to draw.
In the lessons, a child:
- Will learn how to create unusual storyboards
- Will learn how to write text in comics and design sounds
- Learn what a polyptych and establishing shots are
- Will analyze the features of basic comic book styles and the differences between webcomics
- Will practice drawing backgrounds quickly
- Learn how to use photo materials
- Get acquainted with emoji and learn how to add them to pages
- Will choose a color palette for their stories
- Learn how to manage time within a comic 😉
- Even those who have drawn very little can try to create their own comic.
- Skills are not as important as the idea or story you want to show your readers.
